After successful completion of this course, submitting an application and a background check, you will be hired by the Town of Branford. Start your career as a lifeguard today. You are required to attend each date at their respective times. See details below.
Dates to attend for 2026 Summer Session:
- Wed June 17 - Tue Jun 23rd (expect Sat & Sun), 9a-2p each day.
All sessions held at the Walsh Intermediate School Pool. $200 fee that can be paid after completing the pre-requisites. Sign up by emailing Lisa at rathsacklisak@sbcglobal.net
Pre-requisites:
*At least 15 years of age by the last class
*Access to a computer
*Swim 200 yards continuously
*Tread water for 2 minutes ~ legs only
*Complete a timed brick retrieval task in the deep end
