Mahjong Classes- Beginners:
Interested in learning how to play American Mah Jongg? Taught by Elizabeth Santoro, she will lead this 6-week Mahjong course which includes game basics such as set up, play, and strategies. This game is of Chinese origin, played with tiles similar physically to those used in dominoes, but engraved with Chinese symbols & characters. Each week will build off the previous week’s lesson, so it's important students try their best to attend every week! Students MUST also have their own Player's Card. Mahjong Classes- Intermediate (NEW!):
*Pre-Requisite: You MUST have already taken Elizabeth's Mah Jongg Beginner Lesson class.*
If you have been playing American Mah Jongg for a while and would like to take your playing to the next level -- then this is the class for you! Learn how to play with three players -- while still doing the Charleston; and how to play with two players -- called Siamese Mah Jongg. Students MUST also have a current Mahjong Player’s Card.
