BRIDGE BASICS IN THE 21ST CENTURY:
To make up for classes missed due to the COVID-19 shutdown, this series of lessons will review the fundamental concepts of Bridge – bidding, play and defense. The skills learned in these lessons are the best foundation for taking your game to the next level. Lessons will be on Fridays at 10:00 AM, and last for approximately 1 and 1/2 hours, with a series of 8 lessons, based on material prepared by the instructor and a set of pre-arranged hands prepared for the students to play and discuss. The minimum number of students for the course is 8, with a maximum of 16. The fee for instruction will be $90.00 per student for Branford residents. Classes will be held at Branford Community House in Branford starting on June 18, 2021 (no class on July 9). The “book” for the class has been prepared by the instructor - each "chapter" will be emailed in advance to those registered for class.
