Defend Better!
This 4 week class is designed to improve your defense (defense is 50% of your game!) There is no textbook, but there will be hand-outs and discussion of the following topics: Opening Leads, Defensive Signals, 2nd Hand Play and 3rd Hand Play. This class will play 4 pre-arranged hand each week to discuss how the hand was bid, how the declarer played the hand, and how the defense should have cooperated to defeat the declarer. The hands the class will play are from Don B's favorite "teaching" hands from previous classes.

Standard American vs. Two Over One:
There are many different bidding systems in the Bridge World, but the most common in North America are "Standard American" or "Two Over One." This class will teach you the fundamentals and advantages of using Two Over One in your bidding with a partner or improve your understanding of Standard American.  This class will use the book "2 Over 1 Game Force" by Audrey Grant & Eric Rodwell.

Bid Better, Declare Better, Defend Better, and Play Better! 
A 4-week class to improve your bidding, declarer play, and your defense (defense is 50% of your game!). There will be no textbook, but the class will play 4 to 6 pre-arranged hands to discuss how the hand was bid, how the declarer played the hand, and how the defense cooperated to either defeat or hold the declarer to the minimum number of tricks. Hands the class will play are from Don B’s favorite “teaching” hands from previous classes.

Competitive Bidding Bridge Basics 2:
This class will cover all aspects of competitive bidding including cue bids, over calls, takeout doubles and negative doubles.  Students should already be familiar with partnership bridge. The book for this class is Bridge Basics 2  by Audrey Grant. Each class will feature a review of the previous week's topic, introduction of new material and playing of pre-arranged hands. 

Play of the Hand:
This class is for the intermediate level player who wants to improve their play.  Topics will included planning, trump management, the Finesse, entry management and no trump strategy and tactics.  The book for this class in Watson's Play of Hands (Red Cover has larger print).
