Bridge Classes
Learn To Play Bridge (Mondays):
Instructor: Jennifer Marks
Bridge is the ultimate card game, offering a lifetime of fun and friends. There is a fun, friendly bridge club here in Branford waiting to welcome you to join the fun. The class consists of 8 lessons meeting every Monday morning from 10:30 to 11:30, beginning September 14th. This class is for new bridge players with no experience or people that used to play and would like a refresher course. Card playing experience along with " card sense" is required. The class will cover bidding, play of the hand and defense.
Partnership Bidding (Tuesdays):
Instructor: Rick Seaburg
The class will meet Tuesday afternoons from 1-2 beginning September 15th for 4 weeks. This class is for experienced bridge players interested in perfecting their partnership bidding. The primary focus of the class will be improving your second and third level bidding, along with the specialized conventions for accurate bidding.
Competitive Bidding (Tuesdays):
Instructor: Rick Seaburg
The class will meet every Tuesday at 2pm beginning October 20 for 4 weeks
This class will focus on competitive bidding when the opponents enter the bidding. We will discuss over calls and responses as well as the specialty bids. The primary focus will be on assessing the correct contract level. A basic understanding of bridge scoring is required for this class.
