Hosted by coaches from Shoreline Fencing Club (one of Connecticut's premier fencing clubs), Branford Parks and Recreation is excited to work together to offer this brand new & unique summer camp for beginner-leveled foil fencers!

This summer fencing camp is perfect for kids ages 8-12 who are eager to learn this ancient sport. No experience is needed and we provide all the Equipment! Fencers will learn beginner footwork, blade work, bouting, and will participate in some fun fencing related games! Class is held at the Shoreline Fencers Club, located across from the Goodwill at 221 W Main St unit 7, Branford, CT.

Coach Background: The camp will be run by Coach Jim Barnett, a coach at Shoreline fencers Club and Head Coach for the Morgan High School fencing team, one of the best high school teams in the state. Over the years Coach Barnett has trained top level fencers who have gone on to fence at some of the best NCAA programs in the country. This camp is an excellent opportunity for children to discover their passion for fencing!
