For Walsh Intermediate School Students Only:
Join our staff as we bring fun activities/Programs to Walsh Intermediate School. Students will meet directly afterschool and will need to be picked up by 4PM or they may choose to take the late bus home. (You must sign up for late bus the morning of to be eligible to ride the late bus home)
Dungeons and Dragons: 5th – 8th Graders
Instructor/Dungeon Master: Chris Lemieux
A dark shadow looms over the rough and tumble town of Phandalin. Despite it being the height of summer, a chilling wind fills the air. Monsters and dark creatures seem to be making their way down from the Sword Mountains. The region's only hope is a brave group of heroes who slowly uncover a terrible revelation. This is a perfect DnD experience for newcomers and veterans to the game.

After school Intramurals: Grades 5th-8th

Come spend the afternoon with the Parks & Recreation Staff as
students participate in sports games that will develop skills while making connections with your peers in a fun way. Activities may include a friendly competition in various sports like kickball, tennis baseball, capture the flag, lawn games, etc. Please dress comfortable and wear or bring sneakers with you.

Dodge Ball with Victory Soccer: 5th – 8th Graders
Instructors: David Dikranian / Victory Soccer Staff
Lets take Dodge Ball to a new level in this action packed program. This game can be playedseveral ways as well as keeping the kids active afterschool. Students must wear sneakers.

Theater 101: Acting Games & Improvisation 5th-8th Graders
Instructor: Chris Lemieux
Come and see what theater is all about through the exploration of engaging theater games and improvisation! Students will have the opportunity to develop characters and enhance their storytelling all while experiencing the thrill of self-expression and teamwork. This is a great program to gain confidence, learn public speaking, further acting training, and make new friends in a fun and relaxing way!

Video and Board Game Fun:
Instructors: Parks and Recreation Staff / Ricky DiRago
Spend the afternoon with your friends gaming in a fun way. Join parks & rec staff and prove if your Mii is the best Wii Sports player! Play the iconic Wii Sports video game against your peers in popular games such as tennis, golf, bowling, baseball, and many more! If you really are looking for a competition, scores will be kept every week as ‘Mii players’ can climb the top of the Wii Sports leaderboard so players can prove their worth! Also enjoy board games in the classroom while waiting to play or just wanting to socialize with your peers. Board games will include classics such as Connect 4, Sorry,
Monopoly, Life, Clue, and even Table Top Knock Hockey!

Simple Arts and Crafts: 5th-8th Graders
Instructor: Alexandra Hernandez
Come spend the afternoon creating fun craft projects with your friends in a fun way. Each week you will have materials and instruction on creating a new masterpiece!
Please pick only one day as the craft will be the same.
